The Stories We Never Really Let Go Of
The Stories Where We Feel At Home
There’s a scene from the 2001 romcom, Two Can Play That Game, that still gives nostalgic goosebumps.

The soundtrack
The ensemble cast
The hilarious bloopers
The film became more than a movie in many households. Long before streaming and endless scrolling, it lived through syndicated reruns, DVD collections, and worn VHS tapes replayed over and over again.

Recently, I replayed the song while cooking in my kitchen and was immediately transported back to watching that movie.
Sometimes we don’t just remember the story but we remember the version of us when we first experienced it.
